ANSWER:

  • Use of Resource Center's opportunities.

  • Participate in courses and seminars, roundtables and meetings, foreign language conversation clubs, walking, summer

  • and work camps, local and international exchange programs, etc.

QUESTION:  What kind of services does the Resource Centre offer?
ANSWER:

  • Computers-  Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, and Internet

  • Conference-hall

  • Information-board – receive news about various activities, projects and grant programs


QUESTION: Who can use Resource Center and how?

ANSWER: Government, NGOs, Business, Youth, BF's volunteers, Media and Municipality members
Computer opportunities - each organization existing in the region is allowed to use computers 2 hours per week. Before it each organization's chairman should provide user’s name to Resource Center coordinator.
Conference-hall – space for 20 people, projector and white-board. Applicant should apply in written form to Resource Center coordinator to use.


QUESTION: What kind of books are available at the library in Union's office?

ANSWER:  Library consists of books on the following topics: democratic youth, economy, municipalities, constitutions, human rights, legislation etc. Books are in Azeri, Russian and English languages.
User can read booka in the library or take home. He/she should register by identification card with Resource Center coordinator beforehand and return book within 3 days.


QUESTION: How can I participate in summer and work camps?
ANSWER:

  • Be 18+ years of age

  • Know English on conversational level

  • Have Foreign-passport

  • Be interested in volunteer work

  • Pay participation fee (125 AZN) and cover travel costs


QUESTION: On which topics camps are organized?
ANSWER:

  • Art

  • Teaching English to teenagers and children

  • Work with disabled peopl

  •  Environment

  • Repairing and reconstruction

  • Ecology

  • Education/training/seminars/volunteerism

ANSWER:

QUESTION:  How may I participate in projects and programs run by Union?

ANSWER: Every young person with membership status in Union has a right to participate in projects and programs implemented by Union. In case Union releases a call for a specific project or program, the interested young person should fill an application form and submit to the relevant Program Committee to receive participant status for the specific event.


QUESTION:  How can I make suggestions or register complaints with Union?

ANSWER: In this case, you can apply to Chairman or Board members directly by e-mail (their e-mails are shown on internet page) for your suggestion or complaint.
