"Achieving integrated Multicultural Society through
Youth Work"
exchange meeting with participation of active youth from
different European countries and local youth living in
regions.
Project
financed by European Youth Foundation of the Council
of Europe.
Aim:
Overall Aim of the exchange is to provide comfortable
atmosphere among participants where they can explore
integration processes; become aware of national
minorities & explore tools to deal with their
integration positively.

"Me and
You in Europe"
was implemented within the European Campaign "All
Different – All Equal" in partnership with International
Youth Network "Youth for Exchange and Understanding".
Project
financed by the Ministry of Youth and Sport of
Azerbaijan Republic, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
Azerbaijan Republic and European Youth Foundation
of the Council of Europe.
Aim:
Overall Aim of the exchange is to provide the space for
participants to explore ways to encourage young people
to take an active role in local society promoting the
importance of its youth organizations; to develop
cooperation and partnership among youth organizations in
Eastern Europe, South-East Europe & the Caucasus, as
well as in the framework of Euro-Mediterranean
co-operation.

"From
exclusion into inclusion"
was implemented within the Campaign "All Different – All
Equal".
Project
financed by the Ministry of Youth and Sport of
Azerbaijan Republic and European Youth Foundation
of the Council of Europe.
Aim:
The main aim of the meeting is to integrate socially
excluded young people into active participation in
social life and exchange best practices gained in the
European Campaign "All Different-All Equal" concerning
the topic of the project.

"Strengthening European Youth Strategy through
Formulation of Youth Policy"
International seminar involved motivated young people
from Azerbaijan, France, Lithuania, Turkey and
post-Soviet countries that are members of the Council of
Europe. Project financed by European Youth Foundation
of the Council of Europe.
Aim:
The main aim of this meeting is to strengthen
European Youth Strategy through formulation of youth
policy in post-Soviet countries.

"Globalization and Youth Participation: Perspectives of
youth work in regions of Europe"
International seminar involving motivated young people
from Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Georgia and
Lithuania. Project financed by European Youth
Foundation of the Council of Europe.
Aim:
To identify the roles of active young people towards
globalization and to bring insight into the existing
challenges in youth work in Europe, which have been
initiated by globalization process.

"Youth
and Election"
training course and meetings for students of Ganja
Universities, distribution of published materials
(concerning motivating young people’s active
participation in upcoming election). Project had been
implemented based on partnership with Lithuanian youth
organizations and financed by East – East Program of
Open Society Institute – Assistance Foundation.
Aim:
To provide knowledge in voter rights for young people
and involve them to the active participation in upcoming
Presidential election.

"Role of
Youth in Community Development"
International Training course for Trainers for young
people of Eastern European countries and Azerbaijan.
Follow-up of the project implemented in Western regions
of Azerbaijan to involve motivated young people to work
together as a community. Project financed by East –
East program of Open Society Institute – Assistance
Foundation.
Aim:
To strengthen
youth participation in the social life of the Western
region.
Venue: Ganja,
Shemkir, Tovuz and Agstafa regions.

"Role of
Youth in Community Development in Caucasus"
training course for refugee and IDP youth from Georgia
and Azerbaijan, granted some small project assistance
carried out by target groups of the project. Project
financed by European Youth Foundation (EYF) of
Council of Europe. Venue: Azerbaijan and
Georgia

National and regional level projects, actions, meetings
and events:
"For
equality" Youth and Sports Festival:
Festival was held in Ganja city. During the festival
mixed-gender football, basketball and volleyball
competitions were held among the students of
universities and colleagues located in Ganja. Project
was funded by UNICEF and implemented in partnership with
Ministry of Youth and Sport, and its local branch Youth
and Sport Department of Ganja city.
Aim:
Main
aim of the festival was to promote social inclusion
through community-based sport activities in which the
participation of girls and healthy lifestyles of
children and young people will be provided in public
life.

"Azerbaijanis Like Green Ways"
ecological bike action covered Absheron region. In the
course of the action, meetings were held and bike action
organized. Project was funded by State Oil Company of
Azerbaijan Republic and World Bank.
Aim:
With a active participation of the students,
representative of the state and NGOs to strengthen
ecological awareness of Azerbaijanis and to call people
to be more responsible in approach to the environment.

"The
Youth Voice is the Voice of the Future"
bike
action. Action covered five cities in western part of
Azerbaijan, specifically Ganja, Shamkir, Tovuz, Akhstafa
and Kazakh cities. Informational meetings were held and
booklets distributed by bikers. Project was funded by
Norwegian Embassy under oversight of Eurasia Partnership
Foundation.
Aim:
Main
aim of the action was to enhance the political
participation of young people, provide a space for their
active participation in elections, thereby decreasing
the level of abstention in upcoming presidential
elections.

"Celebrate diversity for Equality"
summer camp of the members of Azerbaijan Youth Fund
located 11 different regions of Azerbaijan. Project was
funded by European Youth Foundation.
Aim:
Main aim of the camp was to create and strengthen
relationships among youth leaders from ten different
regions of Azerbaijan, train those youth leaders in
diversity awareness extension strategies, discuss human
rights in an interfaith context and facilitate a
nationwide diversity awareness campaign to combat
prejudices and encourage tolerance.

"There is
no democracy without media freedom"
including trainings, TV-debates, informational sessions
for journalists and other related stakeholders in
different regions of Azerbaijan. Project financed by
the Embassy of United States of America – Democracy
Commission Small Grants Program.
Aim:
The main goal of the project is to initiate the use of
European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) case laws as
guideline to settle domestic libel suits issues by
Azerbaijani national courts.

"Why All
Different – When All Equal"
from West to East Bus tour including National youth
meeting and informational campaigns in different regions
of Azerbaijan. Project financed by European Youth
Foundation of the Council of Europe.
Aim:
The main aim of the meeting is to integrate
disadvantaged youth into the active participation in
social life and exchange with the best practices gotten
within the European Campaign "All Different-All Equal"
in national and international level.

"My life
is my environment"
educational workshops for youth, conducting survey among
local youth and ecological campaign in surrounding
villages of Eldar shami area of Samukh region. Project
financed by World Wide Foundation Caucasus
(WWF-Panda).
Aim:
To provide basic ecological knowledge to the local
population (especially youth), municipality and
executive structures around the "Eldar sami" and to
engage them within the process in protecting the
environment

"Civil
Society Project"
educational and informational meetings focusing on
dialogue between regional stakeholders with the local
government of surrounding Western regions. Project

"Learning by doing"
study visits to arrange an exchange with NGOs located in

Bridge to the Future Youth Union is planning to

Development Association (ARGO)
with the purpose to learn about
four areas of operations that are well-developed in
ARGO: a) institutional development, b) financial
sustainability, c) training policy and d) volunteers
program management.

are Building Bridges to Respond Youth Unemployment"
National seminar involving motivated young people from
different youth organizations of Azerbaijan. Project

and entrepreneurs through developing non-formal/formal
education that enhances opportunities of youth to be
active in the labor market.

"Youth
as Democracy Promoters"
includes meetings, workshops, training courses for
selected paralegals and mentors as well as establishment
of Youth Democracy Centers in Mingechevir and Barda
cities of Azerbaijan. Project financed by «USAID
through the International Humanitarian NGO «Save the
Children».
Aim:
To educate youth about democratization principles that
will help them become active and involved participants
in the democratic life of Azerbaijan as well as to
create space for the involvement of youth as democracy
promoters and volunteers within the public actions of
local municipalities.
